Which is the Better Value for the Money?

Mr. UNZ has detailed this so many times in articles, comment responses, emails and forum posts that I’m just going to give you a quick comparison of three representative snus manufacturers:  two American and one Swedish, to give you the bottom line.  I’ll also include some links afterwards to a few articles that go into more detail.  There are so many more I can’t remember them all.  You’ll also see them in various Comment Response to Member Comments on my articles and in “Mr UNZ’s Mailbag”….depending when you are reading this, that section may not yet be available.  It’s pretty obvious pretty quickly.

• Camel SNUS is the largest manufacturer of American Snus as of 2008.  They have announced a national roll-out of Camel SNUS in first quarter 2009.
• Marlboro Snus is still test-marketing in a very limited number of cities but began marketing snus in the US around the same time as Camel.
• Swedish Match is the largest manufacturer of Swedish Snus as of 2008.  Under a number of brands, they produce 95% of all the Snus made in Sweden.

So strictly on a “what you get for your money” basis without adding quality, safety, reduced harm, higher manufacturing costs for Swedish snus, and all the rest, it is VERY apparent who is making an outrageous profit and who is the best value for the money.  Put it all together, and the difference between Swedish Snus and American Snus are just to apparent to ignore.

But American Snus TRIES real hard through questionable marketing and advertsing.
