Lorillard – Triumph Snus
Lorillard Tobacco introduced and is still test-marketing Triumph Snus in the States of Georgia and Ohio. Unlike other American Tobacco Companies entering the snus market, Lorillard contracted with Swedish Match, the largest producer of snus in Sweden, to manufacture and private-label Triumph for sale in the US. This should have made Triumph the clear winner. Instead, they changed the taste to a candy-like sweet and then scandel broke out when it was revealed Triumph Snus allegedly only had between 4-5 mg. of nicotine instead of 8 mg. Lorillard refused to confirm or deny the allegation.
Triumph is available in two versions: Original and Mint.
